Laramie Bike Park
Updates:
Laramie Bike Park - February 2020
The final report has been published and you can find it here. According to the city, "No site has been selected. Right now we need to prioritize projects within City budgets so that we can begin planning. There is some possibility that the land near the Recreation Center may work out, but if we want to pursue the UW parcel we will need to discuss possibilities with their staff. We also need to talk to them about additional athletic fields so we need to do that as a first step. I would expect that we may begin discussions about priorities later this spring or in the summer."
Laramie Bike Park - November 2019
If you missed the second Laramie Bike Park public input meeting on Wednesday, November 6th, please make sure to visit the City of Laramie website to see what you missed & fill out this new survey about location and features HERE.
The final presentation which will include concepts, recommended locations, phasing and probable costs will be made on Tuesday, December 10th at the City Council work session. We hope you will join us there!
Laramie Bike Park - February 2019
The City of Laramie is moving forward with a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to complete a location assessment, conceptual design, construction estimates, and phasing plan. RFQs are due March 29th, 2019!
Laramie Bike Park - October 2017
We received confirmation this week from Todd Feezer that he will be moving forward with a Request for Qualifications to complete a location assessment, conceptual design, construction estimates, and phasing plan.
With your help, we raised a total of $10,500 and will be writing a check to the City to complete the above items. Moving forward, we will use the conceptual plans to apply for other grants, and hopefully build Laramie's first ever bike park!
