The 2018 SE-WYO-CX RACE SERIES kicked off on Sunday October 21, 2018 in Laramie at LaPrelle Park. The second race of the series occurred on Sunday October 28, 2018 in Cheyenne at Clear Creek Park. The third race of the series returned to Laramie on November 4th.
SE WYO CX took a "break" on November 10th and 11th and by 'break' we mean driving a hour south to Ft. Collins to race in Cross of the North (http://www.crossofthenorth.com/).
The fourth and final race of the series was scheduled for November 18th in Cheyenne at Clear Creek Park. This race was the Cowboy State Games Wyoming CX State Championships.
Racing began at 12pm on each day with the course being available for review approx. 1hr. beforehand
For these races, ride what-ever bike you have or want. Invite your family, friends, and even your enemies to watch, cheer, heckle and laugh. Cyclocross is a spectator friendly sport and even if you don’t race – consider coming out and cheering on those that take on the challenge … remember to bring a COW BELL!
These low-key, yet competitive and challenging venues will allow; (1) those new to riding, racing or CX in general a great opportunity to try out the sport at minimal cost & (2) those with more experience a chance to hone and challenge their skills on a worthy course, and assist in your preparation for a specific event later in the calendar!
