Are you missing racing this summer?
Do you like adventure rides in new places?
Laramie BikeNet has you covered.
A few of us got together and started talking about putting together a virtual race series to give folks a chance to go ride hard and maybe get a little of that race feeling this summer. As we started to think up courses we realized that this would be a good opportunity to get to race on trails, or in areas, that would be difficult or impossible to hold a traditional race. We could have a course that doubles back on itself or is an out and back. We can have courses in different areas around Laramie. We can have a course that goes through Skin & Bones at Gowdy!

Here's what we came up with:
4 races, in 4 different areas around Laramie: The Schoolyard, Happy Jack, Curt Gowdy, and the Snowies.

There will be 2 course options for each area except the Schoolyard; these courses will be Hard, and Less Hard.

Riders must complete all races on the same level of course to be eligible for the series.

Riders will have 2 weeks to complete each race. The series will be decided based on cumulative time: lowest overall time wins.

Riders will enter their time for each race on a Google form with a link to your ride on any GPS mapping platform.

Courses will be available on Trailforks. We will also create Strava segments for each course. If you use an app other than Strava, remember to start and stop your ride right at the start and finish of the course to get an accurate time (even if you keep riding after finishing the course).

This is a free event but for insurance purposes all riders must be BikeNet members and sign an electronic waiver to be eligible for the series.

Register below. You only need to register once for the series. Then, just submit a form for each race.
The race submission form will be found here when it's ready.
