In the Beginning....
.....volunteers packed the trails by snowshoe after a snowfall. However, this was cumbersome and time consuming. With your help, Laramie BikeNet purchased a SnowDog machine to pack the multi-user trails at Happy Jack for Fat Biking, snowshoeing, running/hiking, and classic cross-country skiing. The SnowDog packs the trails quickly, while keeping the narrow, fun attributes of a single-track trail experience for all non-motorized trail users in the winter.
